Subhan Hartree

Subhan loves to weave and create rich vocal textures.

Her voice, spanning three octaves, has a warm and moving quality as she extracts instrumental flavours in the edginess of the moment, delivering herself with intensity and purity. Stylistically - you can hear a little bit of jazz, elements of Celtic flavour, and hints of oriental and eastern european influences.

She has been vocalist with Tok PanTok since 1999, and as well as being singer with other current groups, performances and projects, is a counsellor, homoepath and busy mum.

Subhan is incredibly inspired by anyone doing interesting and unconventionally beautiful things with voice!
